In Maths, Year 5/6 have been learning about measurement. Students have been working on the following skills:
- correctly measuring using a variety of measurement tools
- converting between units of measurement
- measuring irregular shapes
- Extension projects exploring pi and circles
- Estimation and rounding
Students loved the hands on learning experiences offered in this unit of learning.
I did a project on pi. We had to draw a solar system and measure all of the planets.
